I am a girl with varied interests who is trying to put herself out there to see who might be interested.  When I find something I enjoy, I want to learn about it.  Let me take you on one lifetime adventure of mine...

When I was in elementary school, I began three of my interests; reading young adult literature thanks to a wonderful teacher giving me the chance to experience Harry Potter, the wonderful cartoons Dragon Ball Z and primarily Sailor Moon, and killing it at Super Mario Brothers and Mario Kart.  

Many moons later, I am in high school and I have continued reading young adult literature and have started my own little library. During this time my step-sister comes to live with me and we begin reliving our Mario days, desperately trying to beat the game for the first time! Remembering these wonderful times in childhood reminds me of running home to watch my favorite cartoons.  Thus I begin my trek into the anime, a Japanese cartoon, world starting again with Sailor Moon!  But wait, Sailor Moon was in another medium first, manga, or a Japanese comic for those unfamiliar.  

So another interest has blossomed, the beautiful artwork and story lines of manga.  But wait, manga is very similar to comics, and so I decide to check out some TV shows and movies that I enjoy in their original comic form.  And now, I am buried by my interests!!!


In conclusion, if it involves telling a story and beautiful two dimension artwork, I will love it.  So, I have brought my love here.   I will be reviewing books primarily but I may venture in to some of my other interests such as anime, television, movies, manga, comics, and games.  Look forward to the fun and variety to come!  :)
